Thermax are now proud to offer the Firescreen range of insulated fire curtains.
These insulated fire curtains are tested in accordance with EN 1634-1 & EN 13501-1, and are available in multiple classifications varying from EI 30 up to EI 120. These curtains offer insulation without the use of additional sprinklers.
We can also offer smoke seals to curtains up to EI 120 with either Sa or S200 rating.
The Firescreen Temperature curtains are ideal when creating escape routes or alternatively an advance route for fire fighters when entering a building.
SPECIFICATIONS
Firescreen Temperature fire curtains meet the important criteria: Flame containment in order to maintain structural integrity (E), they also limit heat radiation on the non-fire side to a maximum of 1 kW/ m2 (W). Thereby Firescreen Temperature fire curtains qualify for the thermal insulation criteria (I), which means that at a temperature of 1000 ° C on the fire side, these fire curtains ensure that the surface temperature increase on the non-fire side remains below 140 °C. All Firescreen Temperature fire curtains therefore have an EI classification tested according to EN 1634-1.
