Glass Smoke Screens

Thermax Glass Smoke Screens are designed to channel the movement of smoke within buildings. The toughened fire-resistant safety glass used forms a static transparent barrier which confirms to EN12101-1 .

Due to demand we can now offer to two different types of classification, the standard GSS to DH30, tested for 30 minutes at the standard heating fire curve (ISO 834) and now for where longer periods of time are required, we can offer the D120 600, tested for 120 minutes on a reduced heating fire curve up to 600°C.

All the glass comes in 6mm thick toughened glass, so it is light weight to help with installation.

The glass is suspended by two fittings, either aesthetic stainless steel for exposed brackets or the standard economy steel bracket.
