Thermax strongly recommend the frequent testing and maintenance of all smoke and fire curtains.

Regular testing is essential to minimise the risk of breakdowns and ensure that, should the curtain ever need to be called into action, that it is in a safe and reliable state.

At Thermax we ensure that all our engineers are trained to the very highest standards. When a Thermax engineer visits your site, you can be assured that your building’s smoke and fire curtains have been professionally maintained.

Regular maintenance can prolong the life of smoke and fire curtains. Thermax perform a thorough, extensive inspection of the curtains and electrical controls. The battery backup will be checked and if required, batteries will be changed.

If faults are discovered or parts are found to be worn, we will always agree costs prior to any remedial works and will do our best to get the curtain functional again so it does not disrupt your day to day activities.
